Make Up
Deciding whether to have a professional make-up artist or whether you do it yourself is often a decision based on the size of your budget.

Wedding make-up tends to be heavier than every day use because it needs to counteract the flash used by your photographer, which tends to make people look tired and pale. Make-up artists have a lot of experience and will ensure you look perfect for your wedding photos whilst maintaining a beautiful natural look that will last all day.
Do it yourself
Even if you’re used to doing your make-up every day, a different style of make-up is required on the day to maximise the effect in your wedding photography. Some brides choose to have a make-up lesson so that they can do their own.
Make-up concessions - such as Bobbi Brown and Mac - in department stores offer a free bridal make-over. This is often viewed as a cheaper alternative but in reality can actually prove more expensive if you end up buying all the make-up required for your bridal look. Of course you may just view this as a great opportunity to buy some new make-up.
Most make-up artists also provide make-up lessons. The best advice is to choose an artist who uses a range of brands so you can be sure they’re not out to sell you any products.
Another consideration is whether you want the stress of doing your own make up on the morning of your wedding. If you decide to do your own make-up – make sure you have a friend to hand who can help out if the last minute nerves settle in.
