Before you decide on your wedding transport you should consider the following:
Type of transport

How much you want to spend
Depending on your choice of wedding transport, you should expect to spend anything from £195 for a modern luxury car up to £600 for a horse drawn carriage (two horses). The cost of hire will usually cover a 2-3 hour hire period (sometimes extendable) and may or may not include decoration and a bottle of champagne to drink on your way to the reception. Some providers may charge an additional cost if there is a longer distance to travel.
If you're not getting married on a Saturday or are getting married between October to March, you should be able to negotiate a discounted rate if not already offered.
How far you need to travel
If you are getting ready locally to the wedding venue, you may be able to hire just one car which does two journeys - taking the bridesmaids and mother of the bride before returning to collect the bride. This is only really practical if you are within 5-10 minutes travel from the venue.
