FULL DESCRIPTION
This 12th Century Medieval Moated Manor House is a rich tapestry of fine fabrics, beautiful antiques, stunning gardens and grounds. The Court is surrounded by a substantial moat, with a beautiful Terrace that overlooks the water. Within the grounds, the half acre Westminster Pool reflects mature trees and the majestic Malvern Hills beyond. As a family home, the Court has become available for weddings and events over the past five years only. As a well kept secret, wedding couples can be assured of genuine privacy, exclusivity and serenity. Whether you want a church or civil wedding, we have a range of options available for your. The 16th Century Great Hall with a capacity to hold 80 guests is the ultimate setting for your Civil wedding ceremony. Our beautiful garden room - once an Elizabethan bowling alley can accomodate up to 200 for a civil ceremony. With a capacity for 110, the Anglican church of St. Thomas of Canterbury with St. Peter and St. Paul has a charming simplicity. This 14th Century church is just a few yards away from the Court grounds, entered by a private gateway.
The marquee has a total capacity for 130 for a formal wedding breakfast and can be expanded to cater for a total of 300 guests by using the Garden Room next door. The marquee can be adjusted for smaller numbers, and offers a perfect blank canvas for any colour scheme. On hot sunny days the marquee sides can be pushed back to reveal the beautiful gardens. From early Spring to late Autumn the marquee is kept in pristine condition.
Birtsmorton Court has become renowned for fantastic firework shows. In 2009 the majority of wedding couples chose one of our firework packages due to their reputation and value for money.
