What to Expect from Your Wedding Video

Most wedding DVD's tend to be between 1-1/2 hours long, so a lot of editing takes place. Wedding DVD's will include a menu at the start so that you can jump between scenes.

Depending on your budget, wedding video packages can vary in the following ways:

  • Length of coverage - e.g. getting ready, guests arriving, ceremony, wedding photos, speeches, cake cutting, first dance and evening reception
  • Number of DVD's included
  • Whether you have a choice of music to play over the video - usually this is a choice from the videographers list own list of music
  • DVD format - standard, high definition or Blu-ray
  • Additional versions for iPod or You Tube
  • Quality of the presentation case
  • Type of menu
  • Personal message option - guests leave a message for the bride & groom on camera
  • Photo montage option - usually a collection of childhood photos of the bride & groom are put at the start of the DVD
