Wedding Insurance Providers

Most insurance companies offer wedding insurance - with different levels of cover offered depending on the approximate cost of your wedding. As with any insurance there is often a reason why some companies charge more than others.

Our best advice is to avoid insurance companies with bad reviews and always read the small print. If you're in doubt, read some review sites.

nofreetime tips

  • Make sure you read all the terms & conditions and know exactly what is and isn't covered before you take out a wedding insurance policy. For example some policies may only cover personal accidents that result in a permanent disability.
  • Find out how long the insurance cover will last. If you're going on honeymoon, you'll want to make sure that items such as wedding gifts are covered for a few weeks after the wedding.
  • Work out roughly how much your wedding will cost (or what you budget to spend). Whilst you want sufficient cover - there's no point insuring for more than you need. See wedding budget if you need help to work this out.
