Organising the Hen Party

Most bridesmaids share the job of planning the hen party with the chief bridesmaid as chief organiser.

Alternatively another close friend might be asked to do this job if the bride has had to be strict on her number of bridesmaids.

Arranging a hen party can be very time consuming so not a job to leave till the last minute. It’s good to plan it early so you can get the date in everyone’s diaries – especially important if the hen party is in peak of summer! The best time to have the hen party is usually a month before the wedding.

Before you start planning, find out from the bride what sort of hen party she would like. There’s no point organising a pamper day if she’s a bit of a tomboy!
